Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.4.1, a minor bug fix update for Mac. The update carries build number 25E253 and arrives one day after Apple released iOS 26.4.1 and iPadOS 26.4.1 with the same build number.
What’s Fixed
Apple’s release notes describe the update as containing bug fixes for Mac. Based on the companion iOS 26.4.1 release, the update is expected to address an iCloud syncing issue introduced in macOS 26.4 that affected some apps relying on CloudKit push notifications for background syncing. No security fixes are included in this update.
How to Update
To install macOS Tahoe 26.4.1, go to System Settings → General → Software Update. The update is available for all Macs compatible with macOS Tahoe 26.
Apple is already beta testing macOS 26.5, the next major point release, which is expected to arrive later this spring.
