palera1n has updated to version 2.3, adding support for tvOS 26.5 and bridgeOS 10.5. The release also introduces a shortcut in the loader to send a device straight into recovery mode without going through the full jailbreak process, which is handy for troubleshooting or preparing a device for a fresh restore.
tvOS 26.5 Support
The main addition in 2.3 is support for tvOS 26.5, which Apple released on May 11. palera1n is one of the few jailbreak tools that covers Apple TV, so keeping pace with new tvOS releases matters to that community. The update also covers bridgeOS 10.5, the firmware that runs on the T-series security chips found in modern Macs.
Direct Recovery Mode Option
The other addition is a recovery mode shortcut in the palera1n loader. Previously, putting a device into recovery mode during jailbreak troubleshooting required either using another tool or navigating around the palera1n interface. The new option lets you send the device straight into recovery mode from within the loader, saving steps when something goes wrong mid-process or when you need to restore a device quickly.
